Senator Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month 2021

Senator Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh (R-Yucaipa) today expressed her excitement in celebrating California’s rich Latin heritage and cultural diversity during Hispanic Heritage Month.

“As someone who had the opportunity to live in Mexico when I was young, I have great appreciation for my heritage and I am grateful to be a part of one of the nation’s largest contributing cultural populations in California,” said Senator Ochoa Bogh. “I take great pride in understanding our state’s diverse history and honor the trails that have been paved and the opportunities that have been provided to us by the rich heritage of the Hispanic community and their countless achievements.”

Senator Ochoa Bogh is the first Latina Republican elected to serve in the California State Senate. She represents the 23 Senate District, which is home to a vibrant Latino community.
